With a 590nm wavelength spectrum, this bulb minimizes disruptions to nesting and hatching activities along coastal areas, and is approved for use by the Florida Wildlife Commission.

Guided Path Lighting: Install shielded Par bulbs along pathways leading to and from the beach. Ensure that the light is diffused and focused downward to prevent disorientation of nesting and hatching sea turtles.
Beachfront Resorts: If lighting is necessary on beachfront resort properties, use Par bulbs with specific sea turtle-friendly features. Ensure the fixtures are positioned in a way that minimizes direct light exposure to the beach area.
Beach Access Points: Illuminate beach access points or boardwalks leading to the shore with shielded Par bulbs. Ensure that the lighting is unobtrusive and doesn’t interfere with nesting or hatching activities.
Safety Lighting: Illuminate specific areas that require safety lighting, such as emergency stations or lifeguard stations. Use turtle-friendly Par bulbs with warm, amber-toned light to minimize disturbance.
